WHAT: The Miracle League of Orange County, California, is a baseball league for children with disabilities. Everybody hits, gets on base and scores. Players who need assistance batting, catching and throwing the ball are matched up with a "buddy" to help.....
WHEN: We are in our formative stages and currently recruiting sponsors, and holding fundraisers, with the goal of building a 'Field Of Dreams' here in Orange County that can be used by children with disabilities from all over the county. Actual 'play ball' date for the players will depend on how quickly it all comes together, but we're shooting for spring 2004.
